
Dr. Lee is a professor in the Department of Aquaculture, National Taiwan Ocean University in Keelung, Taiwan, R.O.C. since 1990. Education: He obtained his Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK. Experiences: He was the chairman of the Department from 1998 to 2003, the Dean of Academic Affairs of the University (2006~2012). He is a member of the European Association of Fish Pathologists and as Taiwan Regional Official of EAFP since 1998.Publications : Since 1989, more than 60 international peer-reviewed journal papers have been published.The journals include J. Bacteriol., Blood Cell Mol. Dis., Curr. Micrbiol., LAM, Electrophoresis, Mar. Biotechnol., Microb. Pathog., Microb. Infect., Fish Shellfish Immunol., J. Fish Dis., etc. Achievements/ Awards: Outstanding Research Award, 1999-2001, National Science Council, Taiwan and Scholarship, 1987-1990, Ministry of Education, Taiwan. Editorial Experiences: He is on the editorial boards of the Journal of the Fisheries Society of Taiwan, and was editor-in-chief of Journal of Marine Science and Technology 2002~2005. He has been a reviewer of journals such as Applied and Environmental Microbiology, Diseases of Aquatic Organisms, Journal of Fish Diseases, British Biotechnology Journal etc.
